Keep your contacts, PeeringDB record, IRR objects and ROAs up to date. Tell the NOC before planned maintenance on your port or router.

The three steps to connect to Maharlika IX, and what to register before you go live.

Tell us about your network
Send your organisation, public ASN, technical contacts, preferred location and port speed. Say whether you want route server peering, bilateral peering or both.
Confirm your connection
We confirm the facility, port, optics and cross-connect, and who delivers each part. We then email your welcome guide. It has your peering addresses, VLAN and session details.
Before you go live
- Register a route or route6 object for every prefix you will announce.
- Register an AS-SET that lists your ASN and any customer ASNs.
- Create RPKI ROAs for the same prefixes. A route with no ROA is accepted as not found; a route that is RPKI-invalid is rejected.
- Bring your PeeringDB record and contacts up to date.
The NOC can check your AS-SET and help you register missing objects. Email noc@maharlikaix.ph.
Connect and go live
Connect your port and establish your BGP sessions. We check the link and IPv4 and IPv6 reachability, bring up your route server sessions and confirm that your prefixes are accepted, and you start exchanging traffic. Bilateral sessions are arranged with the other network.
