Maharlika IX is operated by Maharlika Connect Inc. This page explains who runs the exchange, what is published and how policies change.
Maharlika Connect Inc. is responsible for the exchange platform, its policies and its commercial terms. There is no separate member voting body. Its chief technology officer, Edwin S. Tiu Jr., is the person responsible for the exchange and the contact named in its MANRS record.
Any network with a public ASN can apply; requests are assessed against our technical requirements, network capability and the policies of the exchange. Members decide for themselves who they peer with. Bilateral sessions are agreed between the two networks involved. Maharlika Connect Inc. also connects its own network, AS150786, to the exchange. The route servers apply the same checks to it as to every other member.
Port prices, locations, routing policies and traffic figures are published on this site. Locations that are not yet live are marked as planned.
Changes to routing policy are tested first, deployed in stages and announced to members in advance.
