Reading the looking glass

What it shows

The looking glass shows every route held by both route servers, including rejected routes, the reason they were rejected and their RPKI state.

Reading a result

Each route carries large communities that record what the route servers found.

• 9420:1000:1 the origin is RPKI-valid
• 9420:1000:2 no ROA was found for the prefix
• 9420:1001:1 the route passed the IRR filter of the member
• 9420:1001:2 no IRR filter is applied to the member
• 9420:1101:13 the route was rejected as RPKI-invalid

A route with 9420:1000:1 and 9420:1001:1 passed both checks. A rejected route stays in the list, is marked as filtered, and is not sent to other members. The routing policies explain each check. For help with a result, contact the NOC.
